Linda Wilkinson

Linda was born in Burlington, Iowa but she grew up across the Mississippi River in Stronghurst, Illinois.  She is the fifth of six children born to Don and Sharon Venardi.  Linda graduated from Southern High School in 1989. 

Linda continued her education at Lincoln Christian College (LCC) in Lincoln, Illinois.  She graduated in 1993 with a B.A. in Christian Business Administration.  Linda worked as the Chapel Office Secretary at LCC from July 1993 – June 1997. 

Lincoln Christian College is where Linda met her husband, Kit.  Kit and Linda were married in February 1994 and lived in Lincoln until Kit finished college.  Upon graduating, Kit found a job in Findlay, Ohio.  The Wilkinson’s have lived in Findlay since the summer of 1997.

From August 1997 – June 2007, Linda worked for Grange Mutual Casualty Company (from full-time, to part-time, to temporary employee to help with vacations and medical leaves).  After that, she stayed at home with her two active children.

Linda and Kit expanded their family by adopting their son Titus in 2003 and their daughter Faith in 2005.  Titus starts 1st grade at Jacobs Primary.  He loves tornados, balloons, candy, and riding his bike.   Faith starts Preschool at Northview Primary this fall.  She likes shadowing her older brother, riding her tricycle, drawing, and playing Wii bowling.

When not busy with family life, Linda enjoys reading, writing, and collecting antique/vintage hats.

While attending Central Church of Christ, Linda helps in the Nursery, teaches in the Preschool class, and directs the Drama Ministry.  In August 2009, she accepted the part-time position of Children’s Ministry Director.  Linda is excited to help families with young children.
