Central Staff
  Sr. Minister

Corina A. Foust

Cori was born in Findlay, Ohio, to Scott and Kala Brewster.   She moved, along with her family to Johnson Bible College and Somerset, KY, but has always thought of Findlay as “home” and the Central family as an important part of her life.

In 2001 Cori graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BS in Family Sciences.  She moved to Findlay with her parents, taking on a childcare position.  Through this opportunity she met Jon, son of Bob and Barb Foust, and introduced him to the Central family.  Jon has lived in Findlay his whole life and has worked as a diesel mechanic for Garner Transportation since high school.  Jon and Cori were married in September of 2004.

Cori is able to stay at home with their two wonderful boys, Hunter and Wyatt, as well as provide childcare from home.  Hunter’s favorite things are his garden, trains and semi trucks, and being a helper.  Wyatt love’s trying new foods, wrestling with big brother, and is content as long as someone is paying attention to him.

Though much of her involvement at Central was initially focused on the Missions Ministry and playing piano for worship; in 2005, Cori assumed a leadership role where she had the opportunity to combine her passion for missions and lifetime of playing piano into what might be considered an outreach within the church.  The people of Central have increasingly supported the transformations happening within the Worship Ministry including the formation of the worship planning team “Fellowship Leading to Outstanding Worship” (FLOW).  In June of 2009, Cori was hired as Worship Coordinator.

The Foust’s most recent family-fun adventure is camping, but in her “free time” Cori enjoys gardening and scrapbooking.  She has been known to be an active supporter of Jon’s outdoor hobbies including hunting, fishing, and reconstructing a 1978 Jeep.  And not to be forgotten is the Beagle team: Gabrielle, Matty, Tucker, Tanner and – the spoiled one – Riegel, the house beagle.
